Preparation for tiling

We arrived out there this morning to meet the tiler (as the tiles were supposed to be delivered today, yesterday, Tuesday). . . actually. . . the tiles were supposed to be delivered before Christmas so the tiler could start work on Monday, but for some reason they weren't, so we lost even more time. . . thanks Don's Tiles! Nice one! We only went in and chose the tiles and signed up for everything on the 14th of November . . . so I can TOTALLY see how it would take over a month for them to find the time to actually ORDER the tiles. .. NOT!

Though we must say thank you to Michael. . . he could have sat on his butt in the shop and told us that our tiles wouldn't be delivered today due to both the delivery trucks being elsewhere, but he took charge, got hold of a ute and a trailer, and delivered those bloody tiles BY HIMSELF! Good onya Michael! Thanks!

Alfresco was screeded this week in preparation for tiling:
As was the front portico:
The tilers had finished screeding the bathroom this morning when we left them, and had put down mesh in the powder room and laundry in preparation for screeding. . . Can't wait to see some tiling action!

  1. Aww don't be too hard on your tiler, things get so sluggish around Christmas and I'm sure he doesn't want to make things hard for you :)

    Portico looks flash :)
