Alfresco tiles nearly finished

Tiles have been laid around the sides of the alfresco, just one side left to do and it's finished. Nearly coming to the end of the tiling phase now. . . just a tiny bit to finish in the main bathroom, the mosaics to finish in the ensuite, then the kitchen, laundry and WC splashbacks and front portico floor. . .



Painters are now starting tomorrow. I went to see Boyen the stair man today and we're getting him to do our balustrade for the alfresco too. We're having merbau timber posts and handrail, with stainless steel rope. We were planning on silver powder coated steel with the stainless steel ropes but decided the wood might look a bit more natural.

    me too! Wonder when he'll do it? Hopefully sometime before we move in . . . the alfresco's more than a metre high at that end so it's DA LAW!
