We decided to change the kitchen benchtop colour. We were going to go for essa stone 'chinchilla':

But unfortunately it didn't quite go with the grey colour on the outside of the house. . . We're having a bit of a stone "servery" stuck out on the outside, and the two colours really did clash. I've chosen two new colours (we're getting two quotes), the first is Caesar Stone 'Linen'. . . and it really doesn't look like this pic at all". . .

The second is Quantum Quartz "Dawn", which looks a bit like this pic:

They're both pretty neutral (or 'non-colours' as my boss calls them). They don't have the obvious brown tones that the chinchilla did, so they'll hopefully not clash as much. I think they'll actually look a lot darker once they're in there with the white cabinets too.
