Brickwork Begins

Brickie started bricking today. . . yay!

Tools of the trade

Door frame for garage side door.

Garage rear, you can just see the door hole starting to take shape in the middle. Garage window is leaning up against the dropped edge beam behind.
Back corner of the garage.

Looking at the front garage wall from inside the garage. There was supposed to be a dividing wall where the slab ends (as we thought there'd be fill behind there, but there wasn't enough dirt to go around). The dividing wall has now apparently been deleted and we're going to concrete in the hole and have extra storage space in the garage. . . hurrah!

View of the back corner of the garage from inside the garage. Handy stool-sized piles of bricks for smokoes.

View of the front garage wall from out the front of the garage. . . looks like we have a garden tap just out the front, next to the drain pipe.

Another view taken from out the front of the garage.

  2. I think we're going to have to start camping out on the slab and keeping watch. . .but then who will go and sabotage your build? I can see we're going to have to hire some help. . .
