We Got Windows! But no frame up yet to put them in.

Windows were delivered today! Hurrah! Pity the frame's not up yet, so they're going to be sat in the mud for some time. Our builder is away on holiday this week. . . lucky builder. . . we can't afford a holiday. . . and apparently the chippie has questions about the frame, and won't start putting it up until the builder gets back. . .boooo! Can't wait to get the frame up so we can start getting a feel for the sizes of the rooms.

I think these windows were gift wrapped. . . well, it is nearly Christmas! Looks like they may be for the front of the house, as they have the colonial strips.

Stacker door for the family room out onto the alfresco. . . Phil says he can see a scratch on the paintwork. . . hopefully we won't be able to see it when they're in.










And also, the styrofoam has been removed from the outside of the alfresco. . . the styrofoam is used to give the slab a lip at the top. . . the bricks are built up underneath the slab and the tiles come down over the side of the slab. . . apparently it's problematic if you stick tiles to the sides of the bricks, as the bricks contract and expand with the weather, and the tiles tend to pop off. . . not good!
